Whether you’re a born and bred Port Stephenian, or you’ve succumbed to her irresistible charms and moved here to live, work or play - we all have one thing in common. We love this place. Just as the traditional owners, the Worimi people, have a strong cultural connection to this land - it is the rare and unique sense of place and pride of Port Stephens that forms part of our identity and is ingrained in the entire community.

Locals love it, visitors love it... let’s face it, everyone loves this Place we call home. The natural beauty, diversity, location and warmth (of both temperament and temperature) blended with the pure joy of living in a place where most just get to holiday - makes for an irresistible cocktail.

Port Stephens is located on a piece of the east coast of Australia we like to call "The Awesome Coast" - just 2.5 hours North of Sydney and 45 minutes North of Newcastle. Place Property Management manages properties located on the Tomaree Peninsula - Nelson Bay, Shoal Bay, Fingal Bay, Corlette, Salamander Bay, Soldiers Point, Anna Bay and Boat Harbour.

Newcastle Airport is located within Port Stephens with regular flights connecting the region to Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney and regional centres. Port Stephens Coaches also provide a regular service around the Peninsula, to Newcaslte, Newcastle Airport and Sydney.

Port Stephens is 979km2 and is a growing area with a population of over 64,000 (and projected growth of 23,000 over the next 15 years). The main employment sectors in the region are retail, tourism, government and defence, transport and logistics, manufacturing and construction. Port Stephens is the also home to a number of retirees and is a sought after retirement destination.

Why wouldn't you live here...? We have a stunning Harbour that is over two times larger than Sydney Harbour and home to around 160 dolphins, a sand dune system that stretches along 32 kilometres of beach (a great spot for fishing) and Tomaree National Park incluidng the Tomaree Headland walk with the best views of the Harbour and Outer Islands. Not to mention the climate - we average a minimum of 12.4 degrees and a maximum of 22.6 degrees with a healthy 1,328mm of rain.

Enjoy the Port Stephens lifestyle without the high costs of city living!
